How it works
Capture→Colour convert→Encode→Mux · MP4 / MKV
No injection
Frames come from Windows Graphics Capture or DXGI Desktop Duplication, documented OS interfaces. Velcloak does not inject code or hook graphics APIs.
Encoder fallback chain
Hardware encoder (QuickSync or hardware MFT) first, then the software encoder. Only the Intel path has been tested in real use.
Honest limits
WGC and DXGI cannot capture exclusive-fullscreen applications. Behaviour varies by game and platform; not every game is expected to work.
